I was born and raised in Cordoba, Argentina. At the age of three, I owned every type of ball to play any sport and by the time I was six, I was fully involved in what I now realize was the toughest place in the world for kids: competitive sports. It was here, on the court or on the field though, that I felt better than anywhere else.
My experience as a young athlete was both extremely difficult and profoundly amazing at the same time. Training was hard, competition was fierce, coaches were trying, but when I succeeded, I soared and I loved every second of it.
Today, I’m able to fully appreciate what sports brought me. It has taken me around the world. It has provided life-long relationships and memories. It has had it’s ups and downs and wins and challenges. But perhaps, more than anything, it has taught me about passion, an invaluable lesson for anyone, but especially an athlete in training.
